What can you do to improve your skin?

Our skin produces sebum, a natural oil. These natural oils are created beneath our pores by the sebaceous glands. Some people may find their skin oily and greasy because these glands produce too many oils. Because it moisturizes our skin, sebum is good for it. Excessive production can lead to skin becoming oily and greasy.
You have oily skin if you use a lot of blotting papers every day and your skin is always shiny.
Oily skin can also trigger acne outbreaks, as the oils react with dead skin cells. Although we cannot stop the oil-producing glands, we can limit how much. First, let’s identify the real reasons for oily skin.

THE TOP 6 REASONS CAUSING OILY SKIN

1. Genetics
Oily skin is a common trait that your parents passed on to you. Hyperactive sebaceous cells are often inherited. Your skin’s oil production is often determined by the size of your pores. The size of your pores is also determined by genetics.
2. Androgens
Androgens, hormones that aid in reproduction and growth, are hormones. While men produce more androgens that women than men, only a few of these hormones are produced by women.
Hormones like testosterone are created by the sebaceous glands. Research shows that higher hormone levels increase skin oil production. Lower oil production is linked to female hormones like oestrogen.
3. Growth hormones
Acne may be related to the production growth hormones as well as sebum. These hormones are at their highest during puberty when oily skin is common.
4. Stress
Stress is another factor that can cause oily skin. When you’re stressed, stress hormones can be released into your bloodstream. Corticotropin-releasing hormone, a stress hormone, has been shown to bind to the skin’s sebaceous glands, boosting oil production. Stress can lead to acne growth in certain people.
5. High-glycemic diets
Simple carbohydrates and sugar may increase sebum production. Simple carbohydrates can increase oil production and levels of growth hormones in the body.
While more research is needed, many studies have shown a connection between low-glycemic diets as well as a decrease in oil consumption.
6. Humidity
High humidity can lead to increased oil production and perspiration. People who live in humid climates have more oily skin. This is why you’re more likely to get oily skin in the summer than during the dry winter months.

HOW TO MANAGE OILY SKIN

1. Home-based therapies
Oily skin can be treated at home with natural remedies that reduce oil production. This will help to avoid problems like redness and acne. However, these home remedies may not be effective in treating excessive sebum. Talk to your dermatologist to discuss the possibility of receiving prescribed treatments.
2. Wash your face twice daily
You can remove many oils from your skin by simply washing your face twice daily. Over-washing your skin can lead to irritation and dryness.
Use a gentle cleanser instead of rubbing your skin. Instead, wash your skin in a circular motion.
3. Moisturize
Moisturizers help keep your skin hydrated and smooth. If you don’t moisturize, your skin will become dry and produce more oil.
Use gentle, oil-free moisturisers. Every morning, apply sunscreen.
4. Use Blotting paper
Blotting paper is another effective method to manage oils. This product is portable and can be used wherever you are.
Instead of rubbing it into your skin, simply dab it onto your face. Why? The oil will spread if you rub the blotting papers against your face.
5. Clay Masks are a great option.
Clay masks can be used for absorbing excess oil. According to research, people who used clay jojoba oils masks twice to three times per week saw significant improvement in their acne lesions.
6. Oily skin can be treated with trusted products
Many products claim to make your skin softer and less oily. Be sure to read the labels on any products you are considering using. These are my top three recommendations: Clarex Oil Control 30gr, Rejudicare Syergy 50ml, IS Clinical – Pure Clarity Collection Kit and Rejudicare Synergy 50ml. These products are trusted by many because they come from well-known companies.
IS Clinical – Pure Clarity Collection Kit
With the iS CLINICAL Pure Clarity collection, you can achieve the clearest skin possible by reducing the appearances of blemishes and breakouts, enlarged pores, congested skin, and enlarged pores.
Rejudicare Synergy-Exfobrite 50ml

This product offers the following benefits:
  • It brightens and softens skin in 3 days.
  • Skin tone has improved in 3 weeks.
  • It plumps the skin in 3 months and reduces wrinkles.
  • An nice and simple to use gel
  • All skin types are regulated to achieve a radiant, beautiful complexion.
  • Will lighten dark spots
  • This combination will reduce the signs of ageing and make your skin look younger.
Clarex Oil Control 30gr
Clarex OC is a breakthrough cosmeceutical oil-absorbing primer. It lasts up to eight hours. It will make your skin shine-free and clear. Invisible microparticles absorb the sebum at the same time it is being created. The skin feels clean with a mat finish.
We have discussed the causes of oily skin. Sebum is essential for healthy skin because it moisturizes and hydrates it. Excessive production can cause skin problems.
I have also talked about how to prevent these glands from producing excessive amounts of oil. If you require immediate results, consult your dermatologist. They are safe for all skin types and have been proven to work.
